The Role Bloomberg L.P., a leading worldwide provider of electronic information, is looking for qualified legal analysts to join its law products group. Each legal analyst will develop new legal information products by creating, organizing and producing innovative current awareness and research products in selected legal practice areas. Using legal research and writing skills, a legal analyst will create advanced and sophisticated written legal analysis within their expertise. Ability to understand legal issues in and create legal analytical content for one or more of the following practice areas: Securities Law, Intellectual Property, Employment & Labor, Corporate Law, M&A, Bankruptcy, Banking & Finance, Antitrust, Insurance or Energy. Qualifications Excellent editing, legal research, analysis and writing skills Ability to complete assigned research and writing projects by prescribed deadlines Must be able to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal Prior law journal or legal writing experience is desirable Law degree from an accredited law school
