One of the most successful funds in the commodities, oil and gas and infrastructure sector is looking to add a junior associate
We are acting on behalf of one of the most successful private equity funds. Establised over 30 years, they focus on investments in oil and gas, energy, commodities, and metals and mining.
They are now looking to add an investment associate to their London team, who will work on the origination and execution of investment mandates for the fund.
- Signficant originating of deals. This could be in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America. - Analysis and screening of investment opportunities - Financial modelling of investments and due diligence - Deal structuring and working on transaction negotiation
They are interested in meeting people who will have a background of one or more of the following:
- Investment banking professionals with one of the major US or European banks. You will work in M&A or leveraged finance. Candidates should have worked on deal execution as opposed to pure origination.
- excellent financial modelling skills
- superb academics
- experience in oil and gas, energy or commodities would be useful
- fluency in Russian, Chinese or emerging markets languages would also be useful although by no means essential
