Our client is one of the world's most successful financial institutions. Operating in investment banking, equities, wholesale and retail banking, they have a superb track record across global markets.
They are now looking to add a Strategy Manager to their London team, who will work as part of small group focused on the investment banking part of the business. This would include financial and capital markets, leveraged finance, wholesale, investment banking, advisory.
Projects which you might work on would be strategic planning, investment appraisal, financial and business analysis, and commercial and operational performance. You will also work closely with MD level professionals on key strategic projects affecting their business units.
You can expect to work in the group for several years before hopefully being promoted into a line role in the mid term.
We are interested in identifying people who will have a background of one or more of the following:
- Strategy consultants from the leading consulting firms
- Strategy managers rom other banks
- Investment bankers looking to make a move into a commercial, strategic role
- Possibly an MBA
You must have exceptional academics and very good communication skills
Financial services experience is essential although this can come from retail, consumer or investment banking.
