The Credit Team acts for the Schroder Group and is responsible for managing the credit risk arising within Schroder & Co, the London Private Bank in terms of client lending as well as Treasury counterparty exposures. The team also has a lesser role managing the principal risks within the Group’s Zurich and Guernsey based banks.
The role also includes reviewing the agency credit risk arising within the investment management business worldwide. The Group deals with approximately 400 counterparty groups in all markets ranging from large investment banks to small, under capitalised local brokers in emerging markets
Key Responsibilities: - Preparing written credit reviews and proposals for a wide range of financial institutions for presentation to the Principal and Agency Risk Committees as well as ad-hoc lending reviews.
- Day to day monitoring of credit risk across the group
- Maintain database
- Liaise with other areas of the group where necessary to ensure credit risk is being considered in the launch of new products or funds

Experience and Skills:
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role with a commercial or investment bank analysing financial institutions both western and from emerging markets
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
