We are seeking modestly experienced tax professionals (4+ years) who want to take the next step in their tax career. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a general tax background in corporate and/or public accounting tax, including tax returns and tax provisions with SALT and/ or international exposure a plus. Qualified candidates should also be able to perform research on various Federal and SALT matters. Responsibilities include: Prepare annual tax returns/ estimates. Perform tax research and support special projects. Perform tax account analysis and reconciliations. Assist with tax notices and audits. Candidate Profile:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field required. 4+ years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm and/ or corporate tax department. Understanding of FAS 109. Solid Working Knowledge and Understanding of Tax Return Preparation, Process and Associated Documentation Key Skills: Team player with excellent attention to detail, problem solving / analytical abilities, research skills and willingness to learn. PC proficient with experience in Excel and various tax application software (e.g., FAST- TAX/ InSource and online tax research tools).
